Project Features/Highlights
Accommodates up to 10,000 passengers per day on five trains. 3.5-acre atrium plaza filled with retail shops, cafes and kiosks. Encompasses approximately 2-million square feet on seven levels. Functions housed in the building include ticketing, baggage claim areas, baggage handling areas, airline offices, retail, Federal Inspection and Immigration services, communications and building control systems. Includes a striking Great Hall, approximately 180-feet wide amd 900-feet long.
Project Description
The Denver International Airport's main terminal is a seven-level concrete structure with more than 1.7 million square feet of usable space, making it one of the largest commercial terminals in the world. Unique to the terminal is its 375,000 sf teflon-coated fabric roof structure, which mirrors the neighboring Colorado Rockies.
