This project consists of two separate buildings connected together. The operations building, built in the 1950s, and the existing terminal building constructed in the1970s. The current building configuration provides approximately 5,900 square meters of service area. This project will require complete restoration to some of the existing floor area as well as expansion of up to 3,500m2 in new construction. Project requirements include: life cycle the existing mechanical and electrical systems install two new baggage systems provide expanded second floor holdroom capacity establish a food court with expansive airside viewing increase retail space combine the two existing buildings into one dynamic and functional passenger processing facility. The existing facility must remain operational throughout this project.
