The Regina General Hospital Project was a major renovation of Regina’s main hospital and health care facility. Additions to main hospital include, an emergency ward, a penthouse, a tunnel between buildings, an MRI and Energy Center, renovations to the main hospital, a new building, a nurses residence, and sitework. One of the main challenges was that construction was ongoing while the building was occupied. Designing and construction was done on a daily basis with many changes taking place throughout the construction period. Because of the political nature of health care in Saskatchewan, this project became high profile, especially in the media. Our excellent work on this facility served to strengthen our new relationship with Regina General Hospital as well as prove our ability for advanced construction in the health care industry.
