Acheson Grain Elevator

PCL Ibberson was selected as the design-build contractor for the construction of a new grain handling facility adjacent to the Acheson Industrial Park, just west of Edmonton. The project features grain drying and grain cleaning and has 30 bin separators, allowing for receipt, treatment and storage of a variety of crops in varying condition. Receiving grain is via two 12,500 BPH truck driveways. Shipping is at 27,500 BPH, allowing the 104 railcar capacity to be loaded in 20 hours.
